Alignment is starting to piss me off

jeep is pulling to the right, check alignment with measuring tape and it is toed in 1/8. when i look at it, it seems like it is totally toed out.

any ideas what it might be. looking at at it makes me think im crazy since its apparently toed in but doesnt look like it at all.

I think its probably because the front sheet metal (what your using as a reference) gets narrower at the front.

Simple fix. When it does that, steer to the left.

If you checked the alignment i wouldn't think that's it. Could be a brake dragging, when you drive it for a little ways stop and feel the wheels. Be careful, if you do have a brake dragging the corresponding wheel will be hot.

yeah but then the tread doesnt wear evenly

alright ill try that, how far should i drive before i check them?

Try five miles, just don't go a long ways because if its dragging it can get hot enough to warp your rotor and catch fire!

well its been like this for a week or so and ive driven like 15 miles on it daily and rotor is fine.

Looks to me like the right tire is toe out. Maybe time for an alignment?

Have you thought about having the alignment done by a shop with up to date equipment? It just might save your tires and keep you from getting headaches.

went to a shop before and they ****ed it up. was out of alignment after 100 miles, waste of$50
