Alignment Question
So I'm in the process off lifting the jeep. I Was curious if when i get it aligned if i need to get it aligned with the tires i am planing to rub because i dont have that as of now. So can i get it alined then throw my new tires under there a couple weeks from now and not worry about it?

You have to align cherokees afte lifting them anyway due to the crappy Y link steering. The toe change is drastic even with a moderate lift. The tire/wheel combo won't change the alignment but a decent alignment tech wil know where to set up your jeep for best tire wear and drivability with a lift, bigger tires and more offset wheel and can do the settings with stock wheels and tires.

It wouldn't hurt to mention it, but it won't make a whole lot of difference either way. The alignment tech is probably just going to adjust the toe, as camber can't be adjusted and most techs don't even know that the caster can be adjusted on XJ's.

The alignment doesn't care what tires you are running. Go ahead and get it done as soon as you get your lift done. Then, just throw your new tires on when you get them. Done.
