Aircon only coming out demist and feet
 

I just bought a 1995 cherokee limited classic and the aircon is only coming out the demist section and feet.

Anyone know what causes this?

You tried moving the selector thingy? if that doesn't change anything, I'd suggest checking the "jeep egg" and looking for any vacuum leaks.

In driver side fender well behind bumper there is a air ball. It connects a small tube to the HVAC. if it becomes disconnected you get your problem.

ah cool that sounds like a good starting point... are you able to better describe where this ball is?
