Air Bag Light - Clock Spring Replace - Which One?
I have an air bag light which is preventing my 1999 XJ 4.0 Sport from passing MD State inspection. Researching the issue, it looks like Clock Spring replacement is in order.
Pricing on the part online varies dramatically. From 114$ to 65$.
Is there anything I should consider when choosing a brand? If not I am going with the lowest price.
Thanks
Russ

When servicing airbags or anything related to it, i prefer OEM, even if it costs more. Im picky. For the XJ, there were two clocksprings used, regardless of manufacturer. One with cruise, and one without. The one with cruise is usually the pricier one.
