I have a bone-stock 1991 Cherokee Sport 2DR RWD and have been thinking about doing a 4WD conversion. Has anyone had any experience in this? From what I understand about the AX15 5-speed, all one has to do is unbolt the nipple and it will mount up to a NP228/229, NP231, or NP242 transfer case.
