Default Advantages of a Unibody???

I've been an XJ owner for about 9 months now. I'm totally hooked. I've found a ton of useful information on this sight and I've made many repairs using advice from this sight that I didn't find in my Haynes manual. One thing I'm curious about is the advantage of a unibody over a body on frame design. I'd rather hear what you guys have to say about.

Thanks

Weight, cost and better ride are the main advantages, but you lose durability.

Weight would be the only thing. I agree with the body lift being stupid. every vehicle I have seen looks horrible in my book.
