AC wont shut off???

AC wont shut off???
So just like the title says, my AC wont shut off no matter where the dial is on the selector. I had to unplug it cause its starting to get cold in the north east. Any idea how to take car of this problem??

Theirs a relay that actually powers the magnetic clutch, it's inside the fuse/relay box. On my Tundra I had a A/C that wouldn't run, unplugging and replugging the relay brought it back to life. Could well be your problem that the contacts are not making contact.

Engine: 4.0L with throttle body spacer and cold air intake, bored throttle body, #784 injector upgrade
x2 on this. Also take a look at the connectors for the electric clutch and for the switch in the dash. Look at the wires for each of them as best as you can to see if there is a short somewhere that is not allowing it to shut off. Ignore the comment about removing your a/c.
