ac/temp/volts
Ok I was just wondering how I can fix my problem in my 91 xj ok so when I turn my ac on it drains my power and kills the motor at a idle but when going do the road drop power some and makes it work hard and also driving with ac on it over heats my motor cause with it off I can drive all day at 210 to 220 but with it on it goes straight up to 240 to 250 plus so what should do beside drive with out ac

Any recent maintenance done? It helps us eliminate some things when we know what has been recently replaced/maintained.

Sounds like the a/c compressor is about to crap the bed.

new crank sensor. new ignition coil. new computer / ecm. new cap/rotor/plugs/wires. new filters new thermostat replace the valve cover gasket flush radiator oil change and put aftermaket gauges oil/volt/temp cause dash one didn't work that is all I can think of
|
Best I can tell that leaves the radiator, rad cap, water pump, fan clutch and efan to replace/check with regard to the cooling system. Could be a faulty IAC sensor effecting idle or carboned-up throttle body. Was all that stuff replaced at once and the problems started immediately afterwards?

thank you for the help
gasket theromstat gauges i did but everything else the other person before did so i dont know and wasnt very honest able the jeep i the first place. but didnt notice it was bad when i drive it home cause there wernt gauges to see but when i flushed the radiator and stat the fluid was rust brown |
If the "fluid was rust brown" that's a good indication that "the other person before" didn't do much maintenance.

So today I check every thing out and I guess it is not the ac its the blower motor on high cause that is all I have. Cause it did it on defrost and the heater also so I guess my blower motor is going out and I have to fix my switch control
