abs light coming on and off
 

jsut last night the abs light started coming on after bout 5 miles of driving. if i shut the car off the light goes away for about another 5 miles. before the light came on is seems like the driver side caliper is sticking and makes a weird noies before the brake starts working like its binding up, would that cause the abs light to come on like that?

I would start by pulling that wheel off and inspecting the brakes first if it's making noises and sticking.

The hub bearing at that wheel could be shot and have a lot of play in it, the slop in the axle shaft could have wiped out the wheel speed sensor or cause too much air gap for the sensor.
