99 xj need urgent help with electrical drain
 

My 99 xj is currently my DD. Last week I replaced the rear shock absorbers. It was a royal pain in the ass but got it done. Now, the electrical mechanisms that control my locks don't work (the doors will lock manually) and my batter keeps getting drained after about 8 hours. I need suggestions on where to look first. I'm replacing my battery cables first but I don't think that would cause the issue.
