99 xj i am trying to tighten my belt..

Model: Cherokee
Engine: 6 cylinder
99 xj i am trying to tighten my belt..
i cant seem to find where to tighten it,, please help and pics would help too

i assume you mean the serpentine belt not your pants right. you need to loosen the pulley near the steering pump and then there is a 15 mm bolt head sticking up near the top of the pulley that is you tighten it will tighten the belt. your 99 may be different though mine was a 2000.
