99 randomly won't turn over...
So my 99 has decided that it will randomly not start.....the starter sounds like it is engaging and if i mess with it long enough I can smell gas when I got out. I replaced the plugs about a week ago and it started up but was rough for a minute and was fine again until yesterday it won't start again. Any clue where I should start looking? thank you for any help.

ps I put a new crank positioning sensor on it earlier this year

If you can get your codes read free at the parts store and post what they find here, someone might be able to help you figure out what they mean.
Also in "info threads" there is a partial description. If I smelld gas I'd be looking for where it might be leaking.....best of luck! |
Start by "finishing" your tuneup. Plugs are only part of that job.
Install quality plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. The importance of fresh tuneup parts to quick starting cannot be overstated. Simple stuff first.....always. |
