So far so good! The transmission is running fine, shifting perfectly, and no leaks!
The tunnel gets pretty warm...almost hot...but it did that with the original transmission, since I don't have any carpets, heat shield material, or sound barrier material on the floor.
I'm going to feel a LOT better though this summer, when I install a brand new aluminum radiator with three fans, and a brand new transmission cooler. I am going to be fixing the air conditioning in June or July, so while I am at it, I'm going to upgrade my cooling system. I don't like seeing my temp gauge reading 210 pretty much all the time (and that is WITHOUT air conditioning)...or the heat coming off the tunnel. Heat is the number one enemy of automatic transmissions.
