depends if it is a sealed unit or just a bulb. You rhave to take out the headlight and find out, if it a sealed unit you have to replace it, vice versa.

you go to the parts store, you tell them you need a headlight, you tell them what kind of vehicle it is for, and they give you the part, then you know exactly what it is you have to replace, however I'm pretty sure they are a sealed unit and not just a bulb, either way all the above steps are where you should start

rampage makes a headlight converstion kit - the headlight lenses are clear. These are not sealed beam units, and they are $80 - $95 for the pair with bulbs. This would be the route to go if you want brighter headlights.

yeah i dont feel like converting anything that the reason i put hella 500's on my jeep to improve the lighting at night with the current headlights today i bought sylvania sliverstar which are the brightest headlights made by them im going to install them tommorow
