98 XJ Bushwacker Cut-Out Fender Flares
Hey guys. I am looking into some fender flares. I was curious if anyone has run these on stock ride height/no lift. I eventually plan on lifting it but was curious if anyone had done so or knew how it would look at stock ride height.
Thanks as always. |
I bought a set for my 4 door and I would not recommend them. I LOVE how they looks and they give you good clearance. However, you have to cut the inner and outer body in the rear fenders. Make sure to seal the rears some how. The only complains are in the install but if you don't care then hack away. I prob wouldn't do it over again if I had the chance, however I do like the stance XJs have with the bushwackers. IMO keep stock fender flares

I concur... lol. They looks great, but i did not realize how much i'd have to cut away. It took me and my buddy 4 hours using a grinder... all we had, but the end result is great, solid and love them. Wrangler ones are easier, just bolt up, but if you are willing to do them, the end result is great.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll prob stay with stock then. The price is a little steep. I figured if people had enough good thoughts on them then maybe I could talk myself into spending the money. Not after that.
Thanks again. |
