98 cherokee classic gas gauge not working
hey everyone I'm looking at purchasing a cherokee classic today. Needs a steering stabilizer, rear 02 sensor, and the fuel gauge is not working.
What is most likely causing the problem, and how much could it possibly cost to fix?

Possibly a grounding issue regarding the gas gauge but most likely the fuel sending unit which is in the tank with the filter/fuel pump. Can't seem to find one online but I am guessing under $100 for the part, but you may want to change the pump while in there too as it will fail eventually too.
So the tank must be dropped to get it out which will cost $$ labour wise..
Best to do it yourself, price-wise as always!

I figured that part would take care of everything all in one shot.
