Default 98-94 Door swap? Manual to Power?

Hello all. Quick question. Would the passenger door off of a 2-Door 1998 XJ be a direct swap for the passenger door on a 2-Door 1994 XJ? A direct bolt up? I was told maybe there was a striker or hinge difference?

Also assuming I can swap the doors the newer '98 one is power window/lock where-as the original '94 is a manual wind-up window. How hard would it be to get power to the door to make the power one work? Or just tap into any 12 volt source?

Thanks in advance as always

The latches are not only different, but are also in different places. I hear its a lot of work to relocate them. The internals also different, so if youre thinking about swapping the interior panels to match, thats not a straight swap either. One door wont match the other, and will look silly, IMO.

It's common to swap both doors on a 96- XJ to the newer 98+ doors. Deletes the quarter window and adds the newer mirrors. There is a well documented swap on this forum or NAXJA. Shows all of the changes needed. The hinges bolt up, the latch is fairly straight forward (no welding needed), and the power swap is fairly simple with the correct schematics (in the write up)
