97 xj radiator / transmission line disconnect
97 xj 4wd, auto trans, 4.0L. do i need some kind of special tool to disconnect the bottom transmission line from the radiator? i was replacing the radiator and didn't expect to see a quick connect coupling on the bottom trans line where it connects to the radiator.

i have all those double sided tools, but it's the round one that works best. it seems to have a longer flange and can get in deeper.
just be sure to clean all the old oil and dirt out of the connector, or you'll never get it to unlock.
i use brake cleaner and a pick.
