not this beast Jordan 2 hoses one from the exhaust another to the inlet manifold with the offending beastie in the middle with electrical plug
dumping gas after the throttle body/sensors its only supposed to dump at cruising speed/rpm........... not when you are on the gas ..... its like a bad tps sorta

this is from the '95 FSM, is the part you replaced the "purge switch" ?

says in bold text "No electrical circuitry is used..."

might be different for a '96

might be different for a '96................. totally different for some of my some of my reference I had to refer to the 97 fsm? there is no 96 fsm its a bit of both?

OK..yes, for an OBD2 equipped '96, you need the '97 manual for the some electrical items..(but '95 for other electrical)

there actually is a '96 FSM, it is just not as a free download.

I have a download of a partial scan of the '96 FSM from a actual paper copy!

(not sure if it has that section)
