96 XJ Dash Removal
 

Yes, I have searched, but I haven't been able to find the answer I need. I have a 96 XJ. The steering wheel does not tilt. My question is what is the best way to get the dash panel off? I have done it twice, but both times it has been a fight, especially getting it back on. I can't figure it out, does anyone have tips for me? Thanks for the help!

Have you "successfully" taken it off and put it back on already? (even with trouble doing so)

Yes, but with difficulty, and it always feels like I'm gonna snap plastic. There has to be a trick or better way.

Well I'm pretty sure that it wasn't made to be easy to do since it's not really meant to be taken in and out a lot. If you can get it in WITHOUT breaking it then it should be fine.
