96 xj with 2001 motor... coolant temp sensor??
I have a 96 cherokee that i just put a 4.0 motor in it out of a 2001.
Im just stumped on where to put the coolant temp sensor since the 2001 doesn't have on on the rear of the cyl head.
There is a spot for one, it's just not drilled and tapped. Are the ports the same to where i can drill out a spot for the temp sensor?
any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Engine: 12 hole bosch Injectors
the one on the back of the head it the temp sender for the gauge you could tee off the coolant temp sensor on the thermostat housing and splice the wire longer
