alright well i'm new to the forum but soo far seems pretty sweet. but i have a problem. bought a cherokee last month with 99,000 miles on it and you could start the thing when u had it in first gear with the clutch no pushed down or just with the clutch not pushed down in nuetral. So i got in it one day like 5 mins after i shut it off to go into the parts store and it wouldn't start. all the lights and dingers worked but when u turned the key it just didnt' do anything like when u try to start a vehicle with the clutch not pushed down... sooo any ideas on mayb what it could be? is there a clutch safety switch on these that may be the problem? any help would be great thanks for reading.

 

oh yeah and i popped started it and it runs just fine and everything works but just when u shut it off it wont start back up i dunno what it could be cuz i'm new the jeeps.

 

it probably is the safety switch on the clutch
went bad
some one will be able to tell you haw to bypass it give the guys a little time to respond
