okay guys, so first off, im new here, Greetings. secondly, i was given a beat up jeep for a first vehicle and love it. it wont start now though. i was going through a drive through and it stalled. now it will turn over and will not start. battery is good, fuel filter is good, any ideas? I have many plans and ideas for this thing, just kind of need it running so i can get the money to work on it lol. thanks in advance.

Couple be cps. Could be plenty of other things. Ignition coil for one.

As stated, more info needed. Check fuel pressure. Check injector pulse. Check for GOOD spark.

anyway, ok,,,,If you were to say throw a dash of gas into the throttle body, will it start? IF not, then you have a electrical problem

Is it an automatic?

If so, might be nuetral safety start switch thingy part. (lost of posts here about it)

or,,,,,

Could be Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS). disconnect this and see if she tries to fire. if it does fire and stall, replace CPS.

or,,,could be the coil,, take wire off dist and hold with pliers near block and have someone crank it, if you got spark it ain't the coil.

or,,,,,dang I gotta hangover headache,,,,,,

or,,,,,need more battery juice,,do lights dim badly when you crank it?

its not the battery, has a near perfect charge. i havent tried anything else. but once i get a chance i will see if its the cps. it is an automatic. and about the more info, i dont know what else to say lol. so far all ive done is changed the fuel filter. about a month ago my radiator sprung a huge leak, replaced that. but i dont think that would do this to it, because it ran perfectly for a few weeks after. if you need to know anything else just ask please.
