96 Cherokee Country 4.0 blowing 60 amp fuse
Okay, so I have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Country 4.0L. I went to start it today and it started fine, but when i rolled down my power windows, they started to roll down then lost power, the gauge cluster lost power, and then it blew the 60 amp generator output fuse. I could also smell either burnt plastic or burnt wiring.
I replaced the fuse, turned the key to the on position and tried rolling up my windows, which were barely getting enough power to move, then it blew the fuse again. Any ideas on what could be wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.
