when I turn my ac on starts to squeal I guess you would say, any ideas why?

There's only one. The serpentine accessory belt.

Engine: I6 Cyl / 4L

If that is the original compressor, it is probably dead or about to die, and puts a excessive resistance when it engages.

I just replaced mine and it was a worn down mess.
