96 4.0 in a 89 question

My 89 Comanche has a bad renix 4.0 and i bought a 96 4.0 off a buddy of mine out of a GC. Can i just swap the long block and and reuse the intake and exhaust manifolds?

Yes.

Use everything from the '89... including the flexplate.
