Default 94 cherokee sport transfer case

I was given a 94 Cherokee sport which I intend to restore. It was stolen from the previous owner and besides a destroyed steering column the transfer case looks like it exploded. I am trying to identify the case however the tags are all missing. This unit has the 4.0L high output motor with 4 speed automatic. I did find the numbers c 17391 stamped in the transfer housing. Someone put a lift kit on this and I am not sure if they allowed for drive shaft travel and/or angles. I would appreciate any help to determine the correct replacement for the transfer case.

Is the transfer case bezel still in tact?

2-4hi full time-4hi part time-N-4 lo = 242
