Default '94 cherokee 4wd conversion

hey y'all, new to the thread. i own a 1994 jeep cherokee sport, with a 5 speed manual tranny and a 8.25 27 spline axle. this thing is 2wd with an open diff and i always get stuck! i want to put 4wd drive in it, but would like suggestions about ways to acquire the parts to do so. its a 2 door, i love the parkability in the city and the fact it has no blindspots is great. engine is a 290,000 as well.

I converted mine to 4x4. Easiest way is to find a complete donor with bad engine or something. You could collect the parts required but the process is pretty easy and straight forward. Got any specific questions, you're in the right spot.
