Did you check your trans fluid level? Check your oil filter adapter the oil rings leak when they get old... it seems..

1. on the oil leak check pretty much where ever it can come from ex: oil pan gasket,o ring/gasket on the base of the distributor where it goes into the block, are you sure its not the rear main you know the 4.0 are famous for it and when u replace that oil filter be sure that the gasket from the old filter still isn't on the block cause if it is that would cause a pretty bad leak
2. im not that hip to autos but i would check fluid level and im sure some of the others will have more info than me
