93 Cherokee Sport Battery Drain Issue
Here on behalf of my step son..... Has a 1993 Cherokee Sport.... lifted and modified. The battery will just not hold the charge. It is about 6 months old. Alternator has been tested 3 x and is fine. Replaced the computer as well and it dies while driving. Cannot figure out what the pull from the battery is. Was told the voltage regulator is IN the computer so that's not it either? No indicators on. Any suggestions on what to troubleshoot next?

Just curious, what voltage shows at the battery when the vehicle is running? Will it start on its own, then die when driving? Or will you have to jump it to get it to start. Did you load test the battery?

When running the voltage is 12-13 (per hubby) when he first jumps it and then it slowly goes down. It's like there's no working alternator but it tested fine. He said he did load test the battery.

Yeah, it should usually read about 14 amps assuming the alternator is charging to the battery properly. Was the ecm replaced with a new or junkyard part? There could be a bad connection somewhere in the cables, what is their condition? Have the grounds been cleaned lately?
