Default 92 jeep cherokee wont start turns over all day but won

So it's been two weeks since my jeep wouldnt start, spent over 400 bucks on parts and thought I fixed it now but only thing I can think of is the fuel pressure regulator quick working? I parked it yesterday and went to start it and she wouldnt start, anything you can say to replace I have replaced, bought tired of this issue, making me regret buying it. Just empty every pocket. Someone that is very good with jeeps plz help.

You need to provide a lot more information so the more knowledgeable guys will respond. What parts did you buy and replace and what led you to buying those parts? (What did you test to trouble shoot?)

And to be clear, you said you thought you fixed it as it would start but now it won't?

Diag the issue before you throw money at it. Check your fuel pressure at the fuel rail before you go replacing the regulator.

And make double sure ALL 6 cylinders have a STRONG spark.

Also, for the real good guys here to even feel obligated to help you, you'll need to post a LOT more info. Does it crank and not fire? Does it crank, fire, then stall? Or does it just sit there making a clicking sound. That'd be a good start.

It ended up being some mini fuses that go to the trans engine and ignition, replaced all the fuses and the regulator, runs champ now with way better fuel mileage. Everything I was told to check and I checked it all and turns up to be a fuse hahah, iv replaced a bunch of oem parts like the actual Chrysler parts, everything I replaced was orginal it all was on it's last leg, 180k miles, parts start failing. Might as well replace things that could go wrong so you don't have any worrys.

All that hardware could've made it to 300k miles easily. My Jeep's pushing 228k and most of the major components are the original parts...

How did you deduce that it had been the fuse? Had you unplugged it and forgot?

great advice without a doubt! But I was wanting to know how he came to this conclusion after having replaced the many unmentioned parts.

I have a 1999 GC 4.7. It will crank but not run. I have done a lot of work on this one. It came in with a bad cam noise and it was running when it came in. We removed the left valve cover to determine the noise and found the chain guide to be badly worn. We removed the front time cover and replaced the chains guides. The tensioners were cleaned and reinstalled. No chain removal at all. Timing was never changed. After closing up the engine and changing the oil we tried to start the engine and it would crank but not run. Changed the CPS, CPS, TPS and PCM but it will not start. Have checked all fuses I believe and SDR but it still will not start. The fuel pressure is good but no spark at all. Have checked all codes and cleared but with no codes showing it still will not start. Have the manual and have run out all wiring but still at a stand still. Have just order another PCM will be in Monday.

I'm not one of the "experts" but I know they are going to ask what brand CPS you used, as a lot of the aftermarket brands will not work out of the box.

So you've replaced all this stuff and driven enough to establish you're getting "way" better fuel mileage? In one day? Impressive.

Maybe you could enlighten us as to exactly which $400 fuse it was that solved the problem? I looked in my FSM and don't see a "trans, engine and ignition" fuse anywhere.
