92 Cherokee parking brake part id part.

I have a 92 Cherokee 2dr and my emergency brake wont lock after pulling it up. I did a check up and found that I need a part to be replace. I don't know how to id it but the star looking with about 12 edges lock mechanism is worned out and need to be replace. Also what ever pushes the button to pull up and down the brake handle wont push out. I had search online but it is difficult to find. My jeep is at the mechanic now and hopefully they can find a replacement but until now does anyone know of a website that I could get that part? I'm happy to buy the whole brake handle but all I need is that small tiny star looking thing.

Check morris 4x4 they have a brake down of all individual parts with numbers.

There are no numbers listed for those parts in the parts catalog. Only the number for the whole unit - BRAKE LEVER & TENSIONER ASSEMBLY part #53009140, but I don't think you'll find one online.

The junkyard is probably your best bet.
