92 with 98 manual transmission swap
I have picked up a 1998 Manual trans from a 4.0 4x4 Sport Cherokee and I want to install it my 4x4 1992 Larado with 4.0. My only reason for doing this is so that I get a way from the internal clutch slave cylinder. I am hoping that it will fit right in there. If you have any information I appreciate it. By the way both jeeps have the 231 transfer case also. Thank you

Should bolt right up.
If not, you can take the slave, slave master, bearing retainer plate, clutch, throwout bearing and bell housing and put it all on your old transmission and it'll go right back in like it came out.
