Headlights aren't grounded and the system is seeking a ground through the instrument lights?
if the headlights seek a ground through the dash then the headlights would work if they were grounded and that still doesnt explain the turn signals
All the lamps in the instrument cluster share a common ground and most are operated off the headlamp switch. The reason I mention headlamps in particular is that you removed the header panel. Could be the parklamps in the panel seeking ground....
No problem before header panel removal? |
no i have removed it a number of times with no trouble i did try disconnecting just the head lamps with some sucess the hazards started working after that i hope this helps
Ok so I have done some homework and soldering and got the headlights to work disconnected it went out for a few hours and tried again and everything works just fine I soldered one wire for the blinkers a ground wire and I didn't even hook it up.......... So a jeep with an attitude or what
