Default 87 renix w/AX5 not shifting into gear when running

So I replaces my trans/the entire clutch system because it needed it. Drove it for a test drive and it would shift 1st through 5th not problems. The other morning not shifting at all with the clutch pressed. Can synchro shift no problem through gears and when it's in 5th clutch want to work but I'd say maybe 35 40 percent because it'll slip and yet accelerate at the same time. I'm plum stuck rn. All help.would be beyond grateful

Have you tried re-bleeding the clutch again?

First off, with the Jeep turned off, pump the clutch pedal about 50 times and walk away. come back 20 minutes later and start it up and see if there is any improvement.

Then, we can move on to the next step regarding your new clutch.

so the clutch still isn't working but my transition that I bought locked up into first gear so I'm pulling that one out I've rebuilt my old one so I'm putting that one back in so I can f****** rebuild this one now. Also am pulling out that slave cylinder and I've got a couple other ones I'm going to put one in and see what happens and I've bled it like f****** eight different times. Also since I had everything pulled apart I'm going to make sure everything's torqued down right and go from there

I think you have a clutch that is not completely disengaging. I understand you have done a lot of bleeding. But the slave cylinder bleeder is not necessarily the highest point in the slave due to the angle of the back of the engine pointing down especially if you have a transfer case drop. The easy way to bleed it is to pull the slave out, point the front down and push the rod in and out a few times. Easy and can be done by yourself. Less messy too

He has an 87, that would be an internal slave, right?

yes it's an internal slave cylinder cuz it's an 87 renix Cherokee Laredo.
also not everything back together last night and tried bleeding the clutch and still don't have a clutch after changing the slave cylinder out cuz the one that was in there the rubber boot that holds the throw bearing in there f****** tore apart and came out

Did you just replace the clutch disc in this project?
Have you tried my suggestion about the 50 pumps and walking away?

Ya know, you just reminded me of something.
The factory was having us replace the flexible line at the dealership level when we replaced masters and slaves back in the day because the flexible hose came apart inside.
worth a try. Don't give up yet.
