91 model with AX-15 clutch fades when warm.
My clutch was completely out in my cherokee when I purchased it.
I replaced it with a LUK Rep set.
It works flawlessly when just sitting after I have started it up.
Although after about 15 minutes of driving, I cannot shift into reverse and slowly loose the ability to shift into any forward gear and end up in the situation where I have to crank it in gear just to get home.
If I leave it alone and do nothing at all to it, the next day I can crank it and shift into gear with ease...
What's wrong?
I'm not loosing any fluid, but it does begin to look foamy when this is happening.
Slave has been bled by a vacuum pump and by having someone pump the clutch.
Upon searching, I find this is a common issue but folks are just dropping off without posting the fix.

You replaced the throw-out-bearing when you did the clutch?
It sounds like the clutch is dragging, but that would NOT cause issues as severe as this. It would just grind going into first/reverse
My guess would be the slave but it sounds like you already bled the system pretty well.
Sorry, that's my best guess. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can chime in here

I did have have the flywheel turned and I also replaced the pilot bearing.
Investinwaffles:
The throwout bearing is part of the slave which was included with the kit and replaced.
If the master will allow fluid to bypass around it, then that may actually be the culprit.

Its pretty simple its either leaking or bypassing. Since theres no leaks so new clutch and slave that leaves master. Simple job sure alot easier than pulling trans back off replacing slave and still have same issue. JM2CW......
