The door locks stopped working all together the other day. I can here a clicking coming from the relays in the pass side kick panel. I tool off the kick panel and i can feel both realays clicking when i lock and unlock from either door. Do the relays need replaced? or should i look somewhere else? I tried searching, "door lock relay clicking" doesn't work, and knowone else seems to have possed on my problem from other searches. Thank you.

 

You could try making sure all electric connections are secure and corrosion free. Other than that I've got nothing.

SOmeone must have had the good old lock problem alreadyu with the jeep. When i was removing all of the wires that were used for an old cell phone, and god knows what else. I cut a red wire coming from the drives door switch to the fuse panel. looked at it this morning, and fixed it. whoops.

 

Gotta love easy simple fixes.

Glad to hear it was just a wire and you didn't have to chase down gremlins for months.
