Push pedal half way down and hold.Open bleeder push pedal to floor close bleeder. Repeat checking fluid level often ....

My pedals soft and is about 2in. from the floor when engages. While sitting with the clutch engaged I lose pressure. NO LEAKS. No fluid loss. Just replaced the clutch, new flex, pressure, disc etc.
Is there a master cylinder issue..? :brickwall:

In my '96, it now loses clutch fluid after I replaced the master and slave. About one small bottle every six months. No idea where it goes; I've never seen it. Been that way at least three years.

Let me add that some slaves now have the bleeder eliminated. They say to bleed by pumping the slave.

Master or slave is internaly bypassing. Gotta replace it no choice not much else you can do.

Try this.

Pump the pedal about 40 times and walk away for 10 minutes. See how it is when you come back. Better? Repeat.
