I actually run with a gauge. I can't see it when I have Coffey in the holder. Anyway it's there, maybe an inch less on defrost. I killed 12 mice, didn't help.
, anybody "been there". I did look pretty well, looks kike Defiantly on defrost, and maybe some other positions.
I guess I already know I need to get into it. Any tips? I don't think the glove box comes out easy like a Tempo, and I had the lower panel off to get at the TCU, and of course the radio hole gives acess to ..things...
Anyway. no doubt, defrost sucks, any tips?

Carry a small blowtorch? Move to the South? The 'ole mouth full of butane/BIC lighter trick? Triple Firehouse Chili for breakfast?
More than one way to defrost that there windshield, I tell 'ya.
Did you check the back of the HVAC switches themselves? If it's leaking there it's much easier to get at to fix. Can't tell you much about getting to the defrost door motor, never had to fiddle with mine. Hopefully it's an easy reach.

Remove the radio to access the HVAC controls.
The vacuum plug on the back of the controls can get wonky. The mice can also do lots of weird things.

HA! I knew I could come here for "sage" advise!(Ya' missed one, I have a 12V Hair dryer for the Tempo!, (works!))(core bypassed)(I don't drive the Tempo, and can't find my hair).
Yea.."easy reach" it's not. Sounds like we all three are in agreement, I need to start digging at the radio....It DOES work btw. Just with that MAP using my vacuum reading, which is lower on defrost...
So board mice are raising the sea level....
PS, Ah!..I get the confusion. "Defrost Sucks", I just meant I hear the hiss on defrost.
Radi, if you happen to be the guy everybody goes to when they can't figure it out, where does that leave you to go?
