89 Xj takes off like a rocket ship at 3grand
When my jeep gets up too 3000 rpm it just takes off like a friggin rocket ship, and accelerating to 3 grand you can feel it trying to pick up, kind of like flooding itself a bit, but then you hit that three grand you figure the moons in sight, TPS? what else could it be?

Mine does that once in a while too. It just keeps accelerating on its own. Only once in a while. From what I hear it could be TPS or IAC.
Kind of funny though. Once in a while I will be driving around 35 mph and the engine just sits at the same speed even with my foot off the gas, almost like cruise control but I dont have cruise!
