89 pioneer rear brakes question
 

I have an 89 pioneer,the back brakes were starting to scrub metal on metal,soon after I have no back brakes or emergency brakes.What do I need to do from here?Can I just replace the pads,do I need new rotors,I need to know before I let someone else do the repair,if it isn't too bad I'll try it myself.Also have a minor wobble at 55 mph,it has had the death wobble a couple times but only after some heavy mudding.Any help would be appreciated,I would look threw all the previous posts but don't have the time and am in dire need of my jeep....thanks in advance.

you will need new rear shoes, drums and spring kit.
you can do the rear brakes yourself. there are plenty of write ups and videos that cover this in detail.

as for your cure for death wobble, there is no common cure, you'll have to search and read up on all the threads. there are many.
but i would start with inspection of all front end bushings and components for excessive wear.

X2 When you do your brakes, Do one side at a time leaving the other side as a reference when you put them back together. Just in case you forget where all the parts go. :thumbsup:

i forgot wheel cylinders, but you may or may not need them anyways.
if you do, they're easy to swap, but you will need to bleed the brakes after.
