Default 89 limited idles up and down from a cold start.

When I start my cherokee in the morning it idles up and down from about 500 to 1000 rpms. Sometimes it idles really low and sounds like its going to die, but never does. I've replaced everything from the dist. cap, plugs, plug wires, tps, o2 sensor, and vaccum lines. I reset the computer many times as well.

Once it's warmed up for the day, it idles steady.. any suggestions?

thanks.

You mentioned changing just about everything that could cause something like this BUT, the MAP sensor.

Grab one out of a JY XJ for TSing, for a few bucks, then if it fixes it pay the coin for a new one, or just leave the donor MAP sensor in it.
