So i was having rough idle problems before replaced a bunch of stuff sensors hoses still never fully smoothed out.


Other week i decided to try some seafoam and see if it would cure it. Seemed to idle alil better after a run or 2 but idk now im getting a harder then normal start you crank and crank .


I got a brand new exide its like 2 months old when i hit the key it cranks and cranks then sounds like its sputtering or boggin out then finally after almost 20 seconds of cranking it starts.

Now if i shut it off after moving it around my yard for a min and try and restart fires right up after 5 seconds

Sounds like your fuel pump is losing prime. I would pull the pump and check it and fuel filter.

idk i replaced the fuel filter before when i thought one was bad but that wasnt the case so that is brand new almost

yeah my 89 has the same problem takes about 20 secounts to start also when i floor it or just hit the gas it bogs out and starts to back fire out of the intake i think that might be from my knock sensor
