89' Cherokee 4DR 4X4 Noob

Hey All I'm Looking to turn My 1989 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4 Door 4x4 in to a rock crawler but have no idea where to start and need some advice. This will be my first build my but not my first crawler.
Idea as of now is looking to do a 3.5" lift 33's and hopefully full exo-cage

You can go cheap or go whole hog with the best stuff available. Depends upon your budget.
