I just bought an 88 that previous owner had painted. None of the power windows worked because they were not plugged back in . The sunroof also will not work. There is no headliner so I can see all the wiring. I spliced a wire into the rear positioned sunroof motor and it runs but do too other locks it does not move glass.
I have found a large flat connector that has all the connections for the sunroof but can not find the other end of the plug. Does anyone know the location of where the plug would be coming up to the roof? I want to start looking for it but I am not sure where to start.

 

don't know for sure, but i suspect itwould be in one of the "a" pillars, pass side would be my guess.

Thanks for the starting point. I was also told that , that may be where the sunroof control module goes. That makes sense but I have been searching the net and can not find a sunroof control module anywhere. Anybody have any idea where to get one?
