Default 88 cherokee issues

hey all, i recently picked up an 88 cherokee 4.0 auto, it needed a tcu when i baught it , ended up having broken wires on the trans, also found out it needed a tps and relpaced that and the tcu, now it shifts good and all that, but it wont start when its cold unless i unplug the tps and then it starts and i can plug it back in and all is good for the rest of the day, i have no clue what is causing that? then yesterday i got in it on lunch break and it started up rough and was acting like it was running on two or three cylinders, then shut it off for like ten min and started up fine, but now when your driving it it keeps cutting out i dont know what dirrection to go in to fix these problems any help would be great
thanks keith

i had cheaked some off the sensors, i drove it to work today its only cutting out when you take off and its under a load but when your up to speed seems not to do it is the fuel pump not putting enough fuel to it when it needs it, dont want to spend 40$ on a gauge the 70$-100$ on a pump too, ide rather just buy the pump
