88' 4.0 won't crank after drive belt and idle pulley replacement

I recently bought an '88 4.0 automatic 4x4 Cherokee pioneer, when I got it the belt was squealing like crazy so I took it to a shop, they told me that the previous owner had put belt dressing on the jeep and that along with the belt and the idle pulley needing to be replaced were the problem. I was instructed by them that I needed to clean the dressing off before I replaced the parts and to do so at a self service car wash and the easiest way to do it was with the engine running.

I did that this morning and was careful not to get anything I shouldn't wet. I then shut the car off washed the body off. Once I was done I started it back up then drove to the area that had the vacuums. Shut it off vacuumed then turned it back on and took the 15 min drive home with no issues. Once home I removed the air box loosened the power steering assembly and removed the belt and pulley. I put the new Pulley on first then unhooked the positive side of the battery to pull the belt over the power steering and finish the install.

After putting the air box back and replacing the air filter when I went to try and start it up to hear if the squeak had gone away the engine wouldn't turn. The radio comes on and I have tried to jump start it with my xterra but that didn't work. It acts like the videos I have seen with the NSS issue but messing with the shifter has not yielded any results.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated, Oh ya and this is my first post to the group since I just recently bought the truck. So hello everyone, and thank you.

Check all your wire connections, esp. Battery and grounds.

After checking all connections n grounds like other guy said. If that didn't solve it. Put in park with key in on position. Pull lower green wire off the starter relay (little box with lots of wires close to the battery) touch the spade connector to the positive terminal of battery, that should start it. Feel free to look up about starter relay before doing so. Would post a pic if new how.
