Fuel pump whining/replacement brand?

Fuel pump whining/replacement brand?
My 87 4.0 I6 fuel pump has been whining for last couple of months, I believeit is still the original pump, is there a particular replacement brand that isbetter than others? I have read other peoples post saying the whining noise came back shortly after installing a new one also?

Most people say that Bosch and Carter are good brands and that you should stay away from Airtex. They don't seem to last very long.
