Cant get my four wheel drive to disenguage help please!!!!!

 

Do you have the 4 cyl. or the 2.8, which transfer case, nv207 or not? Which transmission do you have? Have you tried putting it in neutral (transmission) while coasting slowly 2-4 mph then trying to switch out of 4x4?

 

might have broke the fork of that ingauges it into 4wd. mine did that and wouldnt go into 4wd. where ur vacuum lines hook up to the side of ur front axle take them off. take the sleeve thing theyre hooked to off it hase like 4 bolts. theres a fork lookin thing in there that ingauges it and disinguages when the vacuum lines suck and blow. see if the forks broke and if it is there is gears that lock it in 4wd on the left side. just pop the gears apart and it should go back into 2wd. all the fork does is moves those gears into eachother to lock the front axle in and out. hope it helps
