8.25 diff cover
I was wondering if anybody has used any 8.25 diff covers and how much they were?
I am going to be buying the ruff stuff one. Heard great things about it and is beefy as hell
x2 on ruffstuff. I've heard only good things... which is why when I get diff covers Im gonna go with ruffstuff. Some of the other companies make a diff cover that "looks" a little cooler, but I figure its under your car so barely anybody is gonna see it and when it comes to diff protection you dont want to substitute cool looks over toughness.
I put a RuffStuff on my son's Heep. Had to grind a bit on the inside to clear the adjuster bolts.
Ruff stuff is the diff cover I have on my rear end I have the rough country diff guard on the dana 30.Both nice piece's
I have a ruff stuff front and rear. DONT buy anything else because in the back of your mind that ruff stuff will be there and you will regret not getting the BIG DOG. ruff stuff is the best stuff out there PERIOD :thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks i checked it out and im gonna order one when i order my locker!
x2....i cant believe one for a D44 is cheaper than a 8.25" rear..........
Makes perfect sense. Dana 44's are far more common than the 8.25". Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Isuzu, all have 44's. The 8.25 is a Jeep only rear axle.
figured they would atleast be the same price.
